How it works

Tape a sheet of paper to the glass
US Letter or A4, flat against the glass inside the opening. That sheet is the ruler in your photo.

Take one photo
Get the whole frame in view, as square-on as you can. The app finds the sheet. You drag four dots to the frame corners.

Get the size and your price
Width × height to the nearest 1/8 inch (or mm), with the margin of error. The price comes from your price list. Move the margin slider, check the profit, then show the customer the price.
No paper to hand? The quick estimate works without a sheet. It is good to about ±10% and is labelled as an estimate on screen.

Questions installers ask
How accurate is it?
It depends on the photo. The app shows the margin of error for each photo you measure, and on a good, square-on photo it is typically within a few eighths of an inch. Sizes from photos are for quoting. Final measurement required before ordering.
Does my customer need an app?
No. The link you send opens in their phone's browser. There is nothing for them to install.
What paper do I need?
A sheet of US Letter or A4. Choose which one in settings, then tape it flat to the glass.
Do you sell windows or doors?
No. QuoteToFit is a measuring and quoting tool. It doesn't sell or order anything, and the prices in your quotes are the ones you enter.
Where are my photos stored?
On secure servers, and only you can open them. They are deleted after 12 months without changes.
Can I use it in Canada, Ireland, Australia or New Zealand?
Yes. Work in inches or millimetres, and set your own currency and tax rate.
What happens after the 14 days of Pro?
Nothing is charged unless you subscribe. Without Pro your account moves to Free, with 3 projects a month.
